About this range

A splitting wedge is driven into a log with a sledgehammer or maul to split it along the grain. This range includes steel wedges in 1.5kg, 2kg and 2.5kg, in red and grey finishes, plus a 5lb spike wedge, a twisted wedge and a diamond stake wedge.

The product details describe hardened steel with a rust-resistant coating on several wedges. Heavier wedges suit larger, tougher rounds.
