Product description
Perfect for serious home brewers, this box of four 5 L (1.10 UK gal) glass demijohns comes complete with stainless-steel swing-top caps featuring attached food-grade rubber gaskets, four rubber bung corks, four matching airlocks and a length of clear food-grade siphoning tube for effortless transfers. Crafted from thick, crystal-clear glass, each vessel offers an unobstructed view of fermentation—allowing you to monitor colour, clarity and bubbling activity at every stage.
A sturdy moulded glass shoulder handle on each demijohn ensures safe, ergonomic transport—ideal when racking to secondary vessels, bottling or simply relocating your fermenters without risk of spills or breakage. After primary fermentation, these versatile vessels double as elegant storage or display pieces: their airtight swing-top seals and bungs preserve flavour and prevent oxidation, while the siphoning tube makes gentle racking and bottling quick and mess-free. To maintain peak performance, wash demijohns in lukewarm, soapy water, rinse the tube thoroughly, avoid rapid temperature changes and handle with care.
